⏱️ Estimated time: 2 minutes
👤 Role: All Staff

What you'll learn

  1. How to choose your initial property when launching a new platform session.
  2. How to quickly jump between different hotel sites during an active session.
  3. How to view the customer-facing front end of any specific property.

When should I use this?

Use this guide if your hotel group or management company operates multiple venues across the Gifted platform. This allows you to smoothly transition from one location's administration area to another without needing to log out and back in again.

Before you start

  1. Ensure your user profile has been granted multi-property access permissions by your system administrator.
  2. Make sure you are logged into your primary Gifted administration portal.

Step-by-step

  1. Select a property at the start of a new session

    1. Log in to the Gifted platform using your standard credentials.
    2. From the initial landing screen, click the Manage a Hotel button.

    3. Review the complete list of available Gifted sites that appears on screen.
    4. Use the search bar to type the name of the property you need, or scroll through the list to locate it, then click it to open that site's dashboard.
  2. Switch properties during an active session

    1. Use the Top Left Three Dots
    2. Click on the three dots next to the current property's name, displayed in the top left-hand corner of the page.
    3. Select 'Switch Hotel'.
    4. Type the name of the alternative site into the search bar that appears, or scroll through your assigned portfolio list.
    5. Click on the name of the property you want to view to be taken directly to that specific property's active Dashboard.
  3. View the customer-facing front end of a site

    1. Confirm that the correct, intended property name is visible in the top left-hand corner of your administration page.
    2. Click directly on that property name link.
    3. The system will automatically launch a new browser tab displaying the live, front-end storefront of that specific site.
Warning
Important Notice: Any changes, voucher updates, or setting adjustments you make are strictly limited to the property active in your dashboard. Always double-check the top corner of your screen to ensure you are modifying the correct location.

Best practice

Verify the Venue Before Editing: Make it a habit to check the active venue name in the top left corner before issuing refunds, creating tags, or altering Redemption Delay security settings.
