Gifted | How to regenerate a voucher code
You may need to regenerate a voucher code to ensure that it is not used by the unintended person. For example, if a postal voucher is lost in the post.
If an e-voucher has been sent to the wrong email and the hotel updates the delivery address, the voucher code will be automatically regenerated.
Notes:
This access is locked behind the user role 'Hotel Admin' and needs to be assigned by someone with hotel user manager access at your property. If no one at your property has both hotel user manager access and hotel admin access, please can an on-site manager reach out to our support team via live chat or at support@journey.travel.
Process:
- Log in to Gifted
- Click on Find and Order
- Search via one of the parameters shown below.
- Once you have found the correct order, select the ‘Items’ tab and then make sure you are looking at the correct voucher. (Especially if there are multiple vouchers in one order, you don’t want to accidentally regenerate the wrong code).
- Click the button that says ‘Regenerate voucher code’, a pop-up will then appear at the top of the screen asking you if you are sure you want to do so, click 'Ok'.
- If you are ever unsure if a code has been regenerated, evidence of this will always be shown in the ‘Auditing’ tab. You can also check that the order reference is the same as this will never change.
