Gifted | Creating & Deleting Tags

Tags are a flexible sales tool you can use to highlight seasonal or themed collections — such as Mother’s Day Gifts, Christmas Presents, or Gifts Under £50. They appear on the front end of your site and help guide customers toward relevant vouchers. Tags can be created quickly and removed just as easily once they’re no longer needed.

Creating a Tag

  1. Log in to your Gifted platform.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click ‘Vouchers’, then select ‘Tags’.

  3. Click the ‘Create a Tag’ button.
  4. Enter the tag name — e.g.:
    1. For Him
    2. For Her
    3. Gifts Under £50
    4. Perfect Birthday Ideas
    5. Mother’s Day Gifts
  5. Click ‘Create Tag’. Tip: Tags are perfect for helping customers shop by theme, occasion, or price point.
  6. Select the vouchers that appear once this has been completed, and then 'Update Tag' to apply the tag to them.
  7. Your tag will now appear as a clickable filter on your homepage, making it easier for customers to browse relevant gift options.

Deleting a tag

Once a tag is no longer needed (e.g. Christmas Presents after December), it can be easily removed:
  1. Log in to your Gifted platform.
  2. Go to ‘Vouchers’ > ‘Tags’.
  3. Find the tag you want to remove and click ‘Delete’ next to it.

The tag will be instantly removed from your homepage and filters.

Viewing Live Tags

Any tags currently in use can be seen in the dropdown menu on your homepage.
