How It Works for Customers
1. Voucher Selection & Email Delivery Method
At checkout, customers can choose the email delivery method to enable LDV options:

2. Schedule a Delivery Date
Customers can select a specific date for the voucher to be delivered via email:
Note: If a customer selects the wrong date, it cannot be changed directly in the platform. You’ll need to:
- Update the recipient's email in the Items tab to that of the purchaser.
- Resend the voucher to the amended recipient. This allows the purchaser to forward it on their preferred date manually.
3. Personalisation Options
During the next stages of the checkout experience, customers can:
Add a custom message
- Adjust the voucher’s validity start date
- Record a voice message
Important: If the voice message doesn't play back successfully at this stage, it hasn’t been saved and won’t be included. Always confirm the playback before proceeding.
4. Complete Purchase & Delivery
Once all personalisation is done, the customer completes their purchase. If a delivery date was scheduled, the LDV will be sent accordingly.

- Voucher PDF template
As outlined before the launch of this feature, each Luxury Digital Voucher includes a digital delivery fee of £1.95 per voucher. This fee is paid by the end customer at the point of purchase and is retained by Gifted. It covers the enhanced features of the Luxury Digital Voucher, including the premium animated design, personalised audio message, and the ability to schedule delivery. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
