Ecommerce Platform | Setting Promotional Pricing in EMS

Ecommerce Platform | Setting Promotional Pricing in EMS

Promotional Pricing allows your ecommerce platform to override the set price in EMS - this would be relevant when offering discounts on the ecommerce platform (not to be confused with a 'Promo Code'). This is essential, as your spa items cannot be added to the basket online without this applied.

Setup:

  1. In EMS, log in via Administrator or Manager.
  2. Go to 'Promotional Pricing'.
  3. Make sure that our code is selected at the bottom table, as shown below. This could be called onejourney, RevSpa or JourneyEcom.

  1. Click the checkbox for ALL items that are sold via your ecommerce platform. This might include Appointments, Group Activities, Packages, Food and Drink or Misc. There are no negative impacts for ticking something you don't sell online. Therefore, we normally recommend selecting all items via the 'Select' tick box in the top left-corner. This ensures that nothing is missed and makes this process as quick as possible for you.

  1. Click 'Confirm' to apply them all to allow the 'onejourney', 'revspa' or 'JourneyEcom' code as seen in the screenshot below.
When Journey implements EMS and out ecommerce platform at your site, promotional pricing will be set up for all items. However, if you add new items to EMS that you wish to sell via ecommerce platform, the steps above will need to be followed.

Important Notes:

  1. If an item cannot be added to the basket on your storefront, and they see any error codes (such as  uex000), this is usually due to Promotional Pricing not being set up for the item in EMS.
  2. For Spa Days, the package itself needs to be ticked - but so do all it's inclusions.
