4.Each option must be individually mapped to an experience. To do this, click the option, select Add Experience, and search for the relevant item in your ecommerce platform.
Mapping Restrictions
Multiple Experiences
A single voucher option can be mapped to multiple experiences. For example, a spa day voucher could be linked to various package types, accommodating customer preferences or changes (subject to your spa’s policies).
To add multiple experiences, keep selecting Add Experience and choose the relevant packages:
Setting Restrictions
Number of guests: to reflect the intended use of each voucher. For example, if the experience is Afternoon Tea for One, ensure the number of guests is set to 1:
Days of the week: If needed, limit when the voucher can be redeemed by selecting specific days of the week. For example, you may want to restrict usage to Monday–Thursday only. This helps manage capacity and align voucher redemptions with your availability:
Number of nights: For overnight experience vouchers, you can apply an additional restriction to specify the number of nights included. For example, set the voucher to be valid for 2-night stays only. This ensures the booking aligns with the experience offered:
Additional Notes:
- Voucher Mapping Is Mandatory
- Only vouchers that have been mapped to an experience within your ecommerce platform will be eligible for online redemption.
- Unmapped Vouchers
- If a voucher cannot be matched to an existing ecommerce experience—such as bespoke or non-ecommerce experiences like golf—it will not be redeemable through the online platform.
- Controlled Mapping
- You have full control over how vouchers are mapped. For example, you may choose to map an afternoon tea voucher specifically to the Afternoon Tea experience, or more broadly to all dining options, depending on your business preferences.
