Ecommerce Platform | Creating and editing announcements

Creating a new announcement:

  1. Log in to your ecommerce platform.
  2. From the left-hand menu, under 'Products & Service' click 'Content'.
  3. Near the bottom of this list, click 'Announcements'.

  1. Click 'Create an announcement'.
  2. Fill out as desired.

  1. The 'Announcement name' does not show on your ecommerce platform storefront and is just for admin purposes. The 'heading' is what will pull through as the title of the announcement on your storefront.
  2. You can include links within your announcements content if desired.


Storefront examples:

  • Dismissible banner's and non-dismissible banner's show the same way, underneath navigation bar. However, the latter option has an X on the right-hand side so that it can be dismissed by the guest if desired.


  • Popup announcements show centrally on your storefront homepage, as shown below:


Editing/deleting an announcement:

  • You can edit an announcement by clicking 'edit' to the far right.


  • You can delete an announcement by clicking the three dots to the rear right and then 'delete'.


Important Notes:

  1. You cannot currently have both a pop-up and banner announcement running at the same time, but this is something we are looking to bring out soon.
  2. The text and colours used for your announcements are pulled directly from your branding setup. The colours cannot be adjusted for just your announcements without affecting other elements on your ecommerce platform storefront.
