Ecommerce Platform | What to do when changing your spa product line

When changing your spa product brand line or adding on an additional line you will need to make some changes in Premier before these can be published in ecommerce platform.

You may need to create new spa packages and treatments that are related to the new brand offering. These new treatments and spa days will need to be created in Premier first, making sure to complete the full setup. (If you have used similar names previously, please make it clear which ones are the new items). We recommend creating new packages and treatments rather than renaming old ones.

See the help documents below for creating new treatments/spa days and ensuring they are web-bookable with availability:

Once all the new items have been created we will need to import them into ecommerce platform. Please run an import through your ecommerce platform (see article Ecommerce Platform | Imports).

Once imported into ecommerce platform you will need to edit each item, ensuring that the titles are correct and have descriptions, images, timings, categories, and cross-sells/upsells added to each item.

The next step would be to decide what you want to do with the old items, see the options below:

  • Publish all new items and unpublish the old one (the old items will remain in ecommerce platform but not be visible on the front end)

  • Untick the old items as web-bookable or delete them from Premier. You can then also delete the items in ecommerce platform (this will remove the old items completely)

  • Keep both old and new items published so they are both visible on the front end for sale.
