Ecommerce Platform | How to set up a spa day/package for sale

Once you are live with ecommerce platform and are happy selling treatments and spa days, you might want to add in a new spa day to your offering. Firstly, create it in Premier and then set it up in ecommerce platform. Here's what you’ll need to do:

Premier

In Premier, create the new 'Package', with a title and description (just like you have done before).

Then, set package availability to ensure it can be displayed online:

  • Set Booking limits - the maximum number of clients which can be booked onto this package for a given day

  • Set Web booking limits - the maximum number of clients which can be booked online, taken from the booking limit

  • Allow booking - tick the box(es) against the time band to indicate the start time

  • Number of bands booked - the number of bands that the Spa day can run across.

You will additionally need to set the 'Promotional Pricing' code that is required for all items set up and sold through ecommerce platform. If this isn't set up, guests will not be able to add the package to their basket in ecommerce platform.

Make sure the ecommerce platform code is selected, then click the checkbox for all items that are sold via ecommerce platform. This might include Appointments, Group Activities, Packages, Food and Drink or Misc. Just update them all to allow the onejourney/revspa code.

Ecommerce Platform

Once you have created a new Spa Package in Premier you will need to finish the setup on the ecommerce platform (previously known as onejourney) for it to be able to be booked.

To do this:

Firstly, please run an import (see article Ecommerce Platform | Imports). This will pull through any new Spa Days and Treatments set up in Premier.

Once the import has been done, you can update and enable the Treatment:

  • Under the 'Products and Services' heading on the left-hand side of the screen click 'Spa' and then click on 'Spa Days'.

  • Find the Spa Day that has been newly created and imported and click on the 'Edit' button to the right.

  • Add in any descriptions, images and T&Cs and check that the information pulled through from Premier is correct.

  • Ensure you:

    • Add Categories.

    • Choose which gender/genders it should be available to.

    • Set the 'Number of Guests'.

    • Assign cross-sell/up-sell (Click here on how to add upsell and cross-sell)

    • Set the duration

  • Prices pull through from Premier, if you see a 0.00 price then please double-check your Premier settings.

  • When you're happy everything is set up correctly, tick 'Published on the website' and then click 'Save Spa treatment'.
