How to track the performance of live offers on your storefront.
The process for generating a report that isolates discounted transactions.
How to audit which orders have had a specific offer applied.
Use the Offer Report once you have created and launched an offer (such as a "3 for 2" spa day or a seasonal room discount) and wish to analyze its success. This report allows you to see every order where an offer was triggered, helping you measure the return on investment (ROI) of your promotions.
Key Logic:
While the Order Report shows all transactions, the Offer Report filters your data to show only those bookings where the guest met the criteria for a specific site-wide offer. This is the primary tool for understanding how your active incentives are influencing guest purchasing behavior.
Ensure you have already created and launched an offer on your storefront.
Identify the specific date range you wish to analyze (e.g., the duration of a Black Friday campaign).
Ensure you have "Manage" level access to the platform.
Log in to the Ecommerce platform.
In the left-hand menu, under the Manage heading, click on Reports.
You will be presented with the main reporting screen.
From the list of available reports, select Offer Report.
Date Range: Choose the start and end dates you wish to audit.
Click the Generate Report button.
Once generated, scroll to the bottom of the page to the Ready to Download list.
Locate your report in the list and click on the Report Name to download the CSV file to your device.
Open the file to view the breakdown of orders, including which specific offer was applied to each transaction.
Analyze the "Lift": Compare the data in your Offer Report against your standard Order Report. This helps you determine if your offers are driving "new" revenue or if guests are simply using them for bookings they would have made anyway.
Offers vs. Promos: Remember that "Offers" are typically site-wide incentives that apply automatically when criteria are met. If you are looking for data on orders where a guest manually entered a discount code at checkout, you should run the Promo Report instead.
