When should I use this?
Experience Categories are used to group related treatments or services together. This helps organize the booking diary, online booking journey, and financial reporting.
Examples may include: Massages, Facials, Manicures, or Day Packages.
Key Logic: Every "Experience" (service) must be assigned to a category. Creating logical categories is the first step before building out your service menu.
Before you start
Before creating a new category, confirm:
The category name matches your guest-facing service menu.
How you want these groups to appear in financial reports.
Step-by-step: Creating a Category
1. Open the Administration panel
Click Settings in the navigation menu to open the Administration area.
Select Categories from the list of available administration options.
3. Add a new Category
Click + Add New in the top right corner of the screen.
4. Enter Category Details
Category Name: Enter the name (e.g., Body Treatments).
Display Colour: Select a colour for the diary identifier.
5. Save the Category
Click Save to create the category. It is now ready to have individual Experiences assigned to it.
