Gifted | Online redemptions text toggle in Gifted

If your ecommerce site with Journey is set up to support online Gifted voucher redemptions, you can now include online redemption instructions directly on your Gifted vouchers. This makes it easier for customers to understand how to redeem their vouchers online.

To enable this feature, your site must already support Online Voucher Redemptions. If you haven’t set this up yet, we recommend starting with our guide: Ecommerce Platform | Online monetary redemptions for Gifted vouchers

If you also offer experience vouchers, these need to be mapped to bookable items within your ecommerce platform. You can follow this guide to get everything set up:

What's new with online redemption text?

We’ve updated how redemption information appears on both e-vouchers and printed vouchers to better support online bookings.

Previously, vouchers included standard instructions asking guests to “call to book.” With this new feature, you can now provide clear, customised guidance for booking online:
  1. E-Vouchers will display a direct link to your ecommerce site, allowing guests to book instantly.
  1. Printed Vouchers will include your ecommerce site URL, directing guests to book online with ease.
You can also personalise the display text, making instructions clearer and more engaging for your guests.

This update improves the redemption process, reduces administrative workload for your team, and encourages more direct online bookings!

How to Enable This Feature

To activate online redemption text on your vouchers, get in touch with our support team at support@journey.travel. We'll be happy to switch this on for you.
