When should I use this?

Use this guide when a guest is with you in person and has either just purchased a voucher on-site, or has lost their original voucher and requires a physical replacement copy.

Key Logic: This guide applies only to existing orders. If the guest has not yet made a purchase, you must create a new order first. During that checkout process, select Print as the delivery option, then return to this guide to download and print the file.

Before you start

  1. Ensure you are logged into the Gifted portal.
  2. Check your physical printer setup and ensure you have the correct paper or branded stationery loaded.
  3. If replacing an existing voucher, have the guest's name, email, or order reference number ready.

Step-by-step

1. Locate the customer order

  1. Log on to the Gifted portal.
  2. Click on Find an order (the second widget located at the top of your dashboard).

  4. Search for the order using the available search fields (Name, Email, or Order Reference).

2. Select the voucher item

  1. Open the order.
  2. Locate the specific voucher the guest needs from the order details by checking the voucher code (be careful to verify the correct item if the guest purchased multiple vouchers).

3. Identify which printing option is best for your property

  1. Identify your printing stock to select the appropriate download option.
  2. For standard paper: Click Download voucher PDF to print a standard A4 voucher layout.
  3. For bespoke property stationery: Click Download Overprint PDF if your property uses pre-printed, branded voucher stock that only requires text alignment.
  4. Insert the correct size paper or blank branded voucher stock into your printer.

4. Select the appropriate download option and print the voucher

  1. If you are printing a voucher overprint onto voucher paper, select the three dots next to the item, and click Download Overprint PDF:
  3. If you are printing a voucher PDF onto standard A4 paper, select the download icon to print the Voucher PDF:

  1. Track Print Volumes: You can easily monitor and audit how many orders have been placed using the physical print option by reviewing the Sold Report within your Gifted dashboard.
  2. Verify Gift Messages: Before hitting print, double-check that any custom recipient names or messages are correctly formatted on the PDF preview so the guest leaves with a perfect copy.
