How to create new treatment rooms and stations in EMS
How to configure initial room availability
How to allocate experiences to a new room
This guide should be used when setting up a new physical space or specialized station where treatments occur.
Examples may include: Massage Rooms, Nail Stations, or Consultation Rooms.
Key Logic: A room must have both Availability and Appointments assigned before it can be used for scheduling.
Before creating a new room, confirm:
The exact name/number of the room.
Which specific site the room belongs to (for multi-site businesses).
The list of treatments that can be performed in that space.
Click Settings in the navigation menu to open the Administration area.
Select Rooms from the list of available administration options.
Click + Add New in the top right corner of the screen.
Enter the Room Name (e.g., Room 1 or Nail Station).
If you are a Multi-Site business, select the Site this room is linked to.
Click Save to create your room. The room will now appear in your list.
Click Availability to set when the room can be booked.
Standard Hours: By default, this creates availability for every day. You can adjust the hours here if the room follows the same schedule daily.
Varying Hours: If hours differ by day, toggle Set Per Day and enter the specific hours for each day.
Click Appointments to define which experiences can be performed here.
Bulk Add: Click a Category checkbox to add every experience within that group.
Individual Selection: Click the + on a category to select or unselect specific treatments.
Select All: Use the Select All button to enable all system experiences for this room.
Click Save to commit the configuration. This room is now active and available for scheduling.
