EMS - Creating New Equipment

When should I use this?

Equipment setup is used for items that are limited in number and essential for specific experiences. This ensures the system does not overbook services that require specialized tools.

  • Examples may include: Hot Stones, Hydrotherapy Tubs, or specialized portable machinery.

  • Key Logic: If all units of a specific equipment type are in use, EMS will prevent further bookings for those experiences until a unit becomes available.

Before you start

Before creating new equipment, confirm:

  • The total physical quantity available at each site.

  • The specific experiences that require this equipment to function.

Step-by-step: Creating Equipment

1. Open the Administration panel

Click Settings in the navigation menu to open the Administration area.

2. Navigate to Equipment

Select Equipment from the list of available administration options.

3. Add a new Equipment type

Click + Add New in the top right corner of the screen.

4. Enter the Equipment Name

Enter the Equipment Name (e.g., Hot Stones).

5. Save the Equipment type

Click Save to create the equipment type.

6. Configure Site Settings

Once saved, click Settings on the equipment line to add additional setup.

7. Select your Site

Select your specific Site from the list to open the site-specific settings.

8. Set Quantity

Enter the Quantity of this equipment type available at this location.

9. Commit Changes

Click Save to commit the changes. This equipment is now ready to be linked to Experiences.
