Premier | Stock Manufacturers
Description
Product brand or manufacturer is linked to the stock item on creation, the manufacturer can also be linked to a "supplier" providing a default when creating products.
The Manufacture is used in reporting and to enable the filtering of stock lists.
Resolution
In "Administrator" or via "Manager" click onto “Manufacturers"
Creating a Manufacturer
- To create new Manufacturer click onto the "Green Plus"
- Enter the brand name
- Select the "Default Supplier" from the dropdown list
- If the supplier does not exist see - Stock Suppliers
- Move the required Sites from left to right to allocate
- Select the "Green Tick" to confirm
When confirming the creation of the manufacturer, the system will prompt to create a Supplier for the Manufacturer. If the supplier and manufacturer are the same then click continue "yes", if not then you can link the same the manufacturer to a default supplier.
Manufacturer Site Details
In "Administrator" or via "Manager" click onto “Manufacturer”, and select the "Site Details" tab
Select the required site from the site list
- Alternate Name – Ability to label the Manufacturer under a different name for the site
- Default Supplier - ability to select an alternate default supplier for the site
