RevSpa | How to setup extras & add ons

Extras and add ons are a popular way to increase basket value and enhance the guest experience.

Step 1: Setup Core

If your RevSpa site is integrated with Core, you will need to first add the items that you wish to sell in Core, and ensure they are activated to be sold online.

Step 2: Arrange an Import

Once you have setup all items that you'd like to be sold as an extra on RevSpa, please contact our support team (support@journey.travel) to arrange an 'Import'.

Step 3: Add content

Once the import is completed, you will see a list of extras by clicking Events > Extras / Add ons in the RevSpa admin navigation.

• Click 'Edit'

• Add an appealing title, description and image

• The price you have set in Core and the correct 'Integration Event' will be pre-populated so you don't need to change these.

• Click 'Enable' to ensure the item is visible in the checkout

• If you would like to make the item 'Featured' this will automatically open the concertina for the item so that guests will be able to see the image and content that has been uploaded.

  Guests will still be able to see any imagery and content, but unless it's featured, the concertina will remain closed (see screenshot below for a storefront example)

• Click 'Save'

Step 4: Visibility

• Click 'Edit' on the same item again to set visibility

• Click the 'Visibility' tab

• Select All Treatments, or the individual treatments that you would like display the extra for

• Select All Spa Days, or the individual spa days that you would like to display the extra for

• Click 'Save'

• Repeat for the next item in the list...

Step 5: Test

When you've completed the above steps, you're ready to do some testing and ensure you're happy with the results...

• Go to the storefront of your RevSpa site

• Add a spa day or treatment to the basket

• Click to 'Check out'

• The next list displayed will show any complimentary items, extras and add ons that you have published to be visible for the given treatment or spa day.
