Offering guests additional treats and extras at the checkout will help to increase the basket value for any orders, as well as add to the enjoyment for your guests.
You may wish to offer a combination of complimentary items, and paid at varying price points. The choice is yours.
If you're not sure what to setup, here are some suggestions:
Glass of Champagne / Prosecco
This is the most popular extra sold for all clients. You may also wish to offer a bottle of champagne for those that are visiting as part of a group.
Mocktails & Non-Alcoholic Drinks For those that are not fans of an alcoholic drink, are pregnant or the designated driver, non-alcoholic drinks are a popular alternative to a glass of fizz.
Afternoon Tea / Lunch You may wish to offer this only for guests booking a treatment. As Spa Day packages usually include an F&B element, this may be an appealing option for a guest before or after their treatment(s)
Spa Usage For those that would like to stay in the spa a little longer, before or after their treatment, but not book a full spa day, use of the spa facilities can be an appealing and affordable add-on. For example 2 hours spa usage. This would be an extra only displayed for guests who have a treatment add to their basket.
Face Masks and Scrubs While between treatments, lounging by the pool or in the relaxation room, a face mask or scrub is a low cost treat for your guests.
Facility Usage For example use of the mud chamber, or exclusive hot tub usage. This may be an add on that you only display for those that already have a spa day package added. This will allow the spa manager to find appropriate time to schedule this in.
Spa Product Demonstration
You choose the wording that suits you - We've called ours a 'Pamper Party' - but it's an opportunity for your spa staff to demonstrate and sell the range of spa products that you offer.
Complimentary Newspaper
Balloons
The spa is often a treat purchased for someone celebrating. Helium balloons are a fun addition which may be setup for guests at their lunch table, or possibly presented on arrival.
