Membership Types creation defines the rules for the business rules and fees associated with members
Resolution
In "Administrator" or via "Manager" click onto “Initial Membership Setup” and then “Membership Types”
Creating Membership Types
To create a New Membership Type click onto the "Green Plus"
Enter a description
Gender – State if the membership if applicable to Male / Female or Either
Income Centre from the dropdown list – ability to define where annual and monthly fees are associated
Joining Income Centre – ability to define where fees are associated
Passes Membership – if selected the membership type is activated this enables the user to create a membership and state that it has a number of passes (visits) allocated
Move the required Sites from left to right to allocate
Select the "Green Tick" to confirm
Applying Site Rules
Select the "Membership Type" from the List at the bottom of the screen, then select the "Site Details" tab
If using a multi-site solution select the "Site" in the list of sites
Applying General Rules
Alternate Description - if the site naming convention differs per site you have the ability to define a local description
Age Range – input the required age range for the membership type – if this section is completed all new memberships will require a Date of Birth to be allocated
Start Date – if required input a start date to the membership, if your membership starts immediately a start date is not required.
End Date – if you membership has an end date input the required date, if you membership runs continuously the end date is not required
Length – input how long your membership is valid for
Allow Web Signup - activate to allow online joining
Colour - ability to colour code the membership
Clear - removes colour
Tax - ability to define the tax percentages
Passes
Membership Passes – input the amount of membership passes relevant to the membership
Renewal for Generated - automates the issue of new passes on the anniversary of a generated payers membership
Do Not Exceed - set s a maximum number rod passes which can be held for this membership type
Guest Passes – enter the amount of passes relevant to the membership
Renewal for Generated - automates the reissue of guest passes on the anniversary of a generated payers membership

Access Rules
Ignore Door Access - Allows permeant access via the access control system (Fast-Track)
(typically used for internal membership such as staff)
Ignore Re-swipe - removes the time restriction for this membership
PrePayment
The ability to add credit to the members prepayment account on joining and renewal
Full Fee Levy (Exc) - the default amount of prepayment to be added to the membership
Monthly Levy - the default amount of prepayment to be added to the membership
Loyalty Points
Joining - the default amount of points issued on joining
Renewal - the default amount of points issued on renewal (or on anniversary for generated payers)
Monthly - the amount of points issued each month for generated payers
Full Fee – input the full fee – this is if the member is going to be paying annually for this membership
Multiple Fee” – input the multiple fee – this is if the member wishes to pay monthly for this membership
Applying Valid Hours
The ability to define the time the membership is valid to receive discount (see ) and the hours valid to use the facilities
e.g. Off-peak membership which is only available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.00 and 17.00
Click onto the “Default Hours" Tab
Select the correct “Membership Type”
Valid - when selected any time clicked in the grid will be valid
Invalid - when selected any time clicked in the grid will be invalid
Column
Select "Valid / Invalid", then select a column heading to make the entire column available (e.g. select Monday)
to select multiple columns, click and hold on the column heading , then drag left to right (e.g. click/hold Monday, drag to Wednesday)
Row
Select "Valid / Invalid", then select a row Time to make the entire row available (e.g. select 9:00)
to select multiple rows available, click and hold on the row Time, then drag down (e.g. click/hold 9:00, drag down to 18:00)
Square
Select an "Valid / Invalid",, then select a square on the grid to make available (e.g. select Monday at 9:00)
to mark multiple squares available, click and hold on the square, then drag down and across (e.g. click/hold 9:00, drag down to 18:00 and across to Wednesday)
Applying Additional Membership Fees
The ability to define additional charges to be added to the members annual or monthly fees, such as locker hire, towels, society fees.
The fees listed here are created in Additional Fees, where default Income Centres can also be allocated.
Click onto the “Additional membership Fees" Tab
Select the correct “Membership Type
To allocate an Additional Fee to this Membership Type Tick the box adjacent to the fee’s description
Confirm the Income Centre for any income received. This will default to that selected for the item in Additional Fees, but can be overridden for a specific membership type if required
Full Fee - the rate for members making a single payment covering the full term of their membership
Multiple Fee - the rate per month, for members paying monthly
Tax - select the appropriate tax band from those available in the dropdown
Mandatory - should be ticked if a member must make the payment,
e.g., for Union Fees, or left un-ticked if payment is optional, e.g., for Locker Fees.
Applying Golf Courses
To identify and if required limit, which courses a member of this type can play, as a member, at which sites and on which days of the week. Outside of these limits they will be deemed to be a Visitor.
Click onto the “Courses" Tab
Select the correct “Membership Type
Sites and Courses
Select each site that they can play at and then allocate the courses at that site that they can play on by using the arrow button to move the course to the Allocated Golf Courses section
Valid On
Tick the days of the week that this membership type can play on
Membership Discounts
Members discounts off services and purchases is controlled via the Automatic Pricing where the membership type is linked to the percentage or value off items
