Important - After the initial set-up, only existing users who have the role of 'Hotel User Manager' can create new users.
It’s completely up to you which of your team members you create users for, and which varying roles/permissions they can have access to. To view our article on what each role is for and what it grants access to, please scroll to the bottom of this page.
To create a user:
Log on to your Gifted platform.
Click on ‘users’ on the left-hand side.
Select ‘create a user’.
Enter the information into the fields as required (first name, last name and the email address they will be using to log on to the Gifted platform).
Then you need to create a password in the field below - Only fill in this field if creating a new user, or if you want to update an existing user's password.
Otherwise, simply click on ‘generate random password’.
Click on the Create User button at the bottom of the page.
You then need to issue them with roles. Click the Roles tab and select the appropriate user roles. Once a role is selected it will turn green with a tick.
Now you need to assign the user to a hotel (or multiple properties if they need group access).
Click on the Hotels tab.
Now tick the box next to the hotel as required.
Then update the user.
All that’s left to do is relay this information to the user and let them know their password.
