Gifted | Adding hyperlinks to additional voucher content

In Gifted, you can add HTML hyperlinks to the additional content section of your vouchers.

In order to utilise these, you will firstly need to have vouchers already set up on your Gifted site. To see a guide on creating vouchers, please click here. The same steps will apply once your new voucher has been created.

  • Log in to Gifted

  • Click 'Vouchers' in the left-hand navigation bar

  • Click 'Edit' on the voucher you'd like to change

  • Select the 'Content' tab

  • Scroll down to the 'Additional Content' section, highlight the text you would like to hyperlink and click the hyperlink button on the right-hand side of the toolbar


This will open a new window within the page, as seen below. Enter the intended URL (e.g a .pdf menu hosted on your site) in the 'URL' field.


  • You can also change the 'Link Type' to an email address or phone number - click the 'Link Type' field and select as required. This will change the 'URL' field as selected and can be used for an easy-to-click link to send an email or start a phone call.

  • Then select the 'Target' tab - we recommend using the 'New Window' option, as this will open in a new tab in the user's browser, and is best practice for PDF menus.


  • Once done, click 'OK', and then be sure to click the 'Update Voucher' button at the bottom of the page.

You should now see the linked text on the voucher page, as seen below. Please note this 'Additional Content' will not display on the voucher that the recipient receives; it is only visible to the user browsing the Gifted site.
