Ecommerce Platform | Spa day's 'Arrival Times' and how to hide them

Where do Arrival Times show for Spa Days?

When you view a spa day on your storefront, the guests will need to select the desired date of their visit and then an 'Arrival Time' from the available options. The arrival time that they select will also show in their confirmation email.

How are these Arrival Times set for Spa Days?

The arrival times displayed for spa days are pulled from the start of the applied time bands. Each inclusion for that spa day would also then need to be booked within the time band selected by the 'arrival time'. For more examples and information on how this works, please click here.

This allows you to create the specific requirements for each package from just five time bands.

Can I hide the Arrival Times set for Spa Days?

If desired, you can hide the arrival times for spa days. This is occasionally requested by properties that want guests to arrive when their first inclusion is booked rather than at the beginning of the time band selected.

Before we can do this for you, you will need to ensure that each package only has one time band ticked within the package in Premier. You can have 1-4 entered in the "Number of bands booked" field if you would like the inclusions to run across multiple time bands as outlined in this article. However, the key piece of information is that there can only be one 'arrival' time/start and end date as guests won't be able to pick which time band they want their inclusions to fall into (via the arrival time drop-down box).

Once this has been done, please get in touch via support@journey.travel and we can hide your arrival times.

This will hide the arrival time at checkout and from the confirmation email for all spa days and only show guests the time they have selected for each spa day inclusion. If you want guests to arrive before the time their first item is booked in the diary, please do make this clear in your Terms and Conditions to ensure that this is clear for your guests.
