EMS | Stock Search
Description
The “Stock Search” screen allows the user to view a list of all of the products already input onto the system.
The stock search facility will produce lists of products based on a keyword search or by a combination of selection criteria, providing key details on the product including the quantity of stock held.
Resolution
In "Administrator" or via "Manager" click onto “Stock"
The list above shows all products that are currently available within the system.
The default listing will include all stock items ordered alphabetically by product description. It is possible to apply filters for products provided by a particular supplier or manufacturer, allocated to a particular category or stock area and retail or professional products. It is also possible to reorder the list using:
Stock Search
Keyword "Search" - the search box in the top left dynamically searches:
- Barcode – scan or enter a barcode in full
- Supplier Reference – enter the supplier reference
- Keyword - i.e., part of a Stock Item’s description.
Stock Search Filter
The lists can be filtered by a combination of filters:
- Stock Type - ability to filter the list to Retail, Professional only products
- Selecting Both will list all products (all marked retail, professional, both)
- Manufacturer - filter the list to a specific brand
- Category - filter the list to a specific type of product
- Stock Attributes - filter the list to a combination of assigned attributes
Site / Room Filter
- Site Filter - when using Administrator it is possible to select the site
- this filters the search criteria to the selected site
- the stock quantity presented is based on the inventory at the chosen site
- Room Filter - using Administrator or Mangers it is possible to select a specific room
- this filters the product list to the items assigned to the chosen room
- the stock quantity presented is based on the inventory for the chosen room
