EMS | Multi-Site Copy Function
Description
When operating in a multi-site environment you can create a master file of all products and prices which can then be copied down to the individual sites. Providing the ability to to update the retail pricing without needing to create new pricing structures for all sites.
Any required stock price changes can be made once in the master file and then simply copied to the relevant pricing structure for each site.
Resolution
Create Master Stock Price structure
To create a Master Price Structure you must first have loaded your retail and costs prices to at least on site, this is then used to copy up to create a master file.
The Master Stock Price structure is stored under the "-None-" site record in Pricing Structures, to access this open "Pricing Structures" and select the "-None-" site.
To create the pricing structure
- Select the "-None-"site and then click onto the "Green Plus"
- Select the site and pricing structure to copy from.
- Click onto the "Green Tick" to confirm
Copy Master Stock Price structure to sites
The Master Price list for stock can be updated and then copied down to individual sites.
Once the prices have been amended you can then use the copy function to update individual pricing structures per site.
- Click onto "Copy Stock"
- Select the sites that you would like to copy the new prices to by using the single arrow and moving to Selected Sites For Price Copy or use the double arrow to move across all sites.
- Tick the box next to the pricing structure that you would like to copy to for each site.
- Click on the Green Tick.
