Premier | Peak and Off-Peak Pricing
🔍 Summary
Premier allows you to automate pricing adjustments using Peak, Standard, and Off-Peak pricing periods. This ensures your business can flex prices based on demand, configured per site and for specific time periods.
❓ Likely Scenario
- A site wants to apply different prices at busy (peak) vs quiet (off-peak) times
- Holiday exceptions or special dates require different pricing rules
- A business wants to automate pricing changes without manually updating rates
🛠️ Process Overview
Define your default rate periods (Off-Peak, Standard, Peak) in Site Settings. Then add any exceptions (e.g., national holidays) and apply the pricing structure so that appointments and services reflect the correct rates automatically.
✅ Step-by-Step Instructions:
Set Up Peak/Off-Peak Pricing Periods
- In Administrator or Manager, go to General Menu > Sites
- Select the Peak/Off Peak tab
- Under Site Rate Settings, choose Off Peak, Standard, or Peak
- Apply the rate on the Day/Time Grid by:
- Clicking the Day column heading (e.g., Mon) to apply to a full day
- Clicking the Row heading (e.g., 10:00) to apply to that time across all days
- Clicking and dragging to mark custom time periods
- Select Update to save
Add Rate Plan Exceptions
- Click Add Dates to create exceptions (e.g., public holidays)
- Use Edit Dates to adjust as needed
- Select the exception date(s) from the list
- Apply the required Off Peak, Standard, or Peak plan using the grid method above
Link to Pricing Structures
- Once rate periods are defined, assign prices under Pricing Structures
- Add Off Peak, Standard, and Peak rates to the relevant Appointments tab
🧠 Important Note
- A default rate plan must always be defined for each site
- Exceptions will override default settings for the dates specified
- Ensure that matching prices for Off Peak, Standard, and Peak are set up in your Pricing Structure
