EMS | Peak and Off-Peak Pricing
Description
The ability to flex prices based on business demand can be automated by the use of peak and off-peak pricing, which can be configured per site and for a given period.
Resolution
Site Settings
The pricing periods for Off-peak, Standard and peak pricing can be defined per day of week and time of day. Via site settings a default period can be defined and exceptions can be added for a given date rage, e.g. national holidays.
In "administrator" or "Manager" click onto "General Menu" then "Sites" and select the "Peak/Off Peak" tab.
Setting rate plan
- Using the "Site Rate Settings" select "Off Peak", "Standard", or "Peak".
- Draw the selected rate on the Day and Time grid.
- Select the Column heading (Day e.g. Mon) to fill the entire day with the rate.
- Select the Row (Time e.g. 10:00) to fill the entire time with the rate.
- Click and hold on a time in the grid and drag to fill with the rate.
- Select "Update" to save the rate plan
Rate Plan Exceptions
To add a rate plan exception use the "Add Dates" and to adjust the dates use the "Edit Dates"
Following the addition of exceptions select the dates in the list and add the desired rate plan as detailed above.
Pricing Structure
The rates prices are added using the pricing structures a "Off Peak", "Standard", or "Peak", can be added against appointments.
