Premier | Package Time Bands & Limits

Premier | Package Time Bands & Limits

🔍 Summary

Package time bands allow control of total spa occupancy and help prevent overbooking. Limits can be set per package, time band, and for online bookings.

❓ Likely Scenario
  1. Guests can book more packages than allowed
  2. Online booking limits are not enforced correctly
  3. Packages span multiple time bands and limits are not applied as expected
🛠️ Process Overview

Before creating package time bands, determine:
  1. Maximum occupancy for half-day and full-day experiences
  2. Check-in windows
  3. Restrictions on spa capacity, changing rooms, and lockers
Time bands are then configured to manage package availability and occupancy for the day.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

Access Package Time Band Limits
  1. Open Administrator or Configuration and navigate to Packages Time Band Limits
  2. Click Green Plus to create a new time band
  3. Dates – enter start and end dates; leaving the end date blank will make the bands permanent.
  4. Create Blank – generates a blank time band grid
  5. Create Based On Existing Package Time Band Limits – copies rules from the local site or another site
  6. Click Green Tick to confirm
Configure Time Band Allocations
  1. Enter start and end times for each band
  2. Determine which packages span multiple bands:
Half-day package (4 hours) may be booked in the morning or afternoon
Full-day package (8 hours) may span morning and afternoon

Example:
  1. Band 1: 09:00 to 13:00
  2. Band 2: 12:00 to 16:00
  3. Band 3: 15:00 to 19:00
  4. Half-day package can be booked in Band 1, 2, or 3
  5. Full-day package can be booked in Band 1 or 2
Set Booking Limits
  1. Booking Limits – maximum guests per band; zero indicates no availability
  2. Web Booking Limits – maximum guests allowed to book online; cannot exceed the Booking Limit
🧠 Important Notes
  1. Ensure time bands and limits align with operational capacity
  2. Web booking limits should reflect the total capacity for each time band
  3. Consider overlapping bands when setting start and end times
