🔍 Summary
Premier allows package booking limits to be set per package to prevent overbooking. Daily limits, duration, and time bands can be configured to manage capacity for the spa or other facilities.
❓ Likely Scenario
- Guests are able to book more packages than allowed
- Online booking limits are not correctly enforced
- Time band rules for packages are not applying as expected
🛠️ Process Overview
Package availability limits are created and managed in Administrator or Configuration. Each package can have rules for daily availability, online booking limits, and the number of time bands required for booking.
✅ Step-by-Step Instructions
Access Package Availability Setup
- Open Administrator or Configuration and navigate to Packages
- Select the Site Details tab
- Choose the package to configure and select the Availability tab
- Click Green Plus to create a new availability limit
Define Availability Rules
- Dates – enter a start and end date for the rule; leaving the end date blank will make it permanent
- Create Blank – creates a blank time band grid.
- Create Based On Existing Package Time Band Limits – copies rules from the local site or another site.
- Click Green Tick to confirm
Configure Package Allocations
- Start Date – define the first date the package can be booked
- End Date – define the last date the package can be booked; blank allows always available
- Booking Limit – maximum number of packages bookable per day
- Web Booking Limit – maximum number of packages bookable online per day
- Allow Booking – select arrival times for the package
- Number of Bands Booked – define how many time bands are required for the package
- Click Green Tick to save the rules
Example:
- Band 1: 09:00 to 13:00
- Band 2: 12:00 to 16:00
- Band 3: 15:00 to 19:00
- A half-day package (4 hours) could be booked in Band 1, 2, or 3; Number of Bands Booked = 1
- A full-day package (8 hours) could be booked in Band 1 or 2; Number of Bands Booked = 2 (e.g., 09:00–16:00 or 12:00–19:00)
🧠 Important Notes
- Ensure that package limits align with staff capacity and operational requirements
- Web booking limits should be coordinated with online sales channels to prevent overbooking
