EMS | Membership Categories
Description
Membership categories provides the ability to add an additional attribute to a members record, which can then be used when reporting or marketing specific segments of your membership. For example the member may be joined on a full membership, but might also be a staff member, founder, lodge owner, etc...
Resolution
Creating Membership Categories
- To create a new category click onto the "Green Plus"
- Enter a description
- Select the "Green Tick" to confirm
Applying Site Rules
Select the "Membership Category" from the List at the bottom of the screen, then select the "Site Details" tab
If using a multi-site solution select the "Site" in the list of sites
- Alternate Description - if the site naming convention differs per site you have the ability to define a local description
- Inactive - to deactivate for this site
