We leave it completely up to you to manage your unredeemed vouchers (or 'breakage' as we call it here at Gifted). With this in mind, we have made it quick and easy to change and extend expiry dates, giving you full control over the system.
Great customer service was at the forefront of our mind when we created Gifted, the flexibility of vouchers is one example of this. You may want to allow grace periods or use the reporting system to contact guests informing them they only have a short period left before the voucher expires. You are also able to extend vouchers individually for customers where desired.
On the dashboard, you will always be able to clearly see the breakage (the pure profit from unredeemed vouchers). Typically 25-30% of gift vouchers aren’t redeemed each year.
