What you'll learn
- How to request and enable automated Shopping Feeds for Gifted vouchers.
- How to share Google Shopping and Meta Commerce Manager feed URLs with your digital marketing team.
- How to exclude specific vouchers from appearing in external product catalogues.
When should I use this?
Use Shopping Feeds to automatically display your live gift vouchers across Google Shopping, Facebook, and Instagram. This feature creates and maintains a real-time product catalogue from your live storefront, updating voucher details, images, availability, and pricing (including active promotional sale prices and UTM tracking) every three hours. This eliminates manual feed maintenance while expanding your reach to high-intent shoppers across major search and social platforms.
Before you start
- Ensure you have admin access to your Gifted platform.
- Prepare to contact the Journey Support Team to enable the feature for your account.
- Have the contact details for your digital marketing team or access to your Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager accounts.
- Note that inactive, secret, or display-only vouchers are automatically excluded from all shopping feeds.
Step-by-step
1. Enable Shopping Feeds for your account
Contact the Journey Support Team to request activation of the Shopping Feeds feature for your Gifted storefront.
Once enabled, the team will generate and send you two distinct feed URLs: one formatted for Google Shopping and one for Meta.
2. Share feed URLs with your digital marketing team
Provide the two generated feed URLs to your digital marketing team or agency. They will add these links directly into Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager.
Important Notice: Feeds refresh automatically every three hours. Only visible, active vouchers will appear in the feed. Any vouchers marked as inactive, secret, or display-only are automatically excluded from external product catalogues.
3. Exclude specific vouchers from feeds (Optional)
If you have an active, visible voucher that you want to keep on your website but hide from Google or Meta product catalogues, you can manually exclude it:
- Navigate to Vouchers in the main menu.
- Select Settings for the specific voucher you wish to hide.
- Tick the option for Exclude from shopping feeds.
- Click Save.
Once saved, this voucher will no longer appear in Google Shopping or Meta product catalogues.
Best practice
Review feed visibility periodically: Audit active vouchers to confirm that promotional pricing and UTM tracking parameters are populating correctly in your ad accounts.
Capitalise on automatic updates: Take advantage of automated three-hour refresh cycles during peak sales or offer periods without needing to manually re-upload product files.
