⏱ Estimated time: 3 minutes
👤 Role: General Managers, Finance Teams, Marketing Managers, Front Desk & Operations Teams
What you'll learn:
- The specific purpose and data included in each available report within the Gifted platform.
- How to generate and download reports for your property.
- Understanding how to handle voucher, redemption, finance, and liability data.
When should I use this?
Use the reporting suite whenever you need to extract data for financial reconciliation, VAT reporting, marketing campaigns, or operational tracking. The platform provides several specialized reports to ensure every department gets the exact voucher data they need without unnecessary clutter.
Key Logic: Reports are generated on-demand to ensure you are always working with real-time voucher and transfer data. All reports are exported in CSV format, which is compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and most accounting software.
Before you start:
- Identify which report matches your current goal (e.g., use the Customer Report for marketing, but the Finance or Transfer Report for accounting).
- Ensure you have the appropriate access permissions to the Gifted dashboard.
- Have your target date range in mind before generating the export.

Best Practice & Compliance
- The Marketing Data Rule: To remain fully compliant with GDPR and privacy laws, always use the Customer Report for marketing exports. Other operational reports contain transactional contact details for voucher buyers/recipients who may not have opted in to promotional communications.
Important Notices
- VAT & Tax Handling: Ensure you check the VAT breakdown column in the Finance Report when filing taxes. Single-purpose and multi-purpose vouchers may carry different VAT treatment depending on your local jurisdiction.
- Understanding Transfer Reports: Your Transfer Report outlines bank payouts. It details total gross voucher sales minus platform/processing fees, matching the net funds deposited directly into your bank account.
- File Handling: CSV files are exported in plain text. When opening in Excel or Google Sheets, check that currency symbols, date formats, and long numeric voucher codes display correctly according to your regional spreadsheet settings.
