Gifted | How do I add comp terms & conditions?
A complimentary voucher is a voucher where the value has been changed to zero. You can issue these out to guests as a gesture of goodwill, a prize or even as a present for staff.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These kinds of orders can only be created on the back end of Gifted by someone who has the correct permission to create them.
If you’d like a separate set of terms and conditions for complimentary vouchers, then here are the steps you need to follow…
Click the ‘Edit’ button next to the category you wish to add complimentary terms to.
Click ‘Update Category’ at the bottom of the page to save the changes you have made.
Enter complimentary terms and conditions for all the required categories. (We would recommend adding them to all categories unless you only plan on offering vouchers from a single category as a complimentary.)
Now, when you create a complimentary voucher, it will give you the option to change the terms and conditions from ‘Default’ to ‘Complimentary’ at checkout.
