Gifted | How do I add comp terms & conditions?

A complimentary voucher is a voucher where the value has been changed to zero. You can issue these out to guests as a gesture of goodwill, a prize or even as a present for staff.

IMPORTANT NOTE: These kinds of orders can only be created on the back end of Gifted by someone who has the correct permission to create them.

If you’d like a separate set of terms and conditions for complimentary vouchers, then here are the steps you need to follow…

  • Log on to your Gifted platform.

  • Click on the ‘Vouchers’ button in the menu on the left-hand side.

  • Click ‘Categories’.

  • Click the ‘Edit’ button next to the category you wish to add complimentary terms to.

  • Enter your complimentary terms and conditions in the designated box, highlighted below.

  • Click ‘Update Category’ at the bottom of the page to save the changes you have made.

  • Enter complimentary terms and conditions for all the required categories. (We would recommend adding them to all categories unless you only plan on offering vouchers from a single category as a complimentary.)

  • Now, when you create a complimentary voucher, it will give you the option to change the terms and conditions from ‘Default’ to ‘Complimentary’ at checkout.
