Gifted | Create an Offer

How to create an offer

  • Log in to your Gifted platform.
  • From the menu on the left, click Marketing
  • Click on the 'Offers' widget.
  • Click on ‘Create an Offer’.
  • Enter a name for your offer — for example, Black Friday Deal. This name is for internal use, so choose something that helps you easily identify the offer.
  • Choose the start and end dates and times using the calendar and time selector. Tip: We recommend starting offers in the morning to catch early shoppers.
  • Apply the discount that you would like to use in the offer.
  • Choose either a Voucher Expiry Date or a Validity Period—you only need one, not both.
  • Voucher Expiry Date:
  • Use this if you want all vouchers from this offer to expire on a specific date. Perfect for time-sensitive add-ons, like a complimentary glass of fizz available until a certain day.
  • Validity Period:
  • Set this if you want vouchers to be redeemable for a set number of days after purchase. Ideal for short-term promotions—like a winter offer valid for 2 months to boost off-season bookings.
  • Add a Description for the offer—this is what your customers will see, so make it clear and appealing.
  • Enter any Terms & Conditions.
For example: Valid Monday to Thursday only, excluding bank holidays or Complimentary drinks are only available with a dinner reservation.
  • When you're happy with everything, click Create Offer.

Vouchers tab

  • Go to the Vouchers tab within the offer settings.

  • Select the vouchers you’d like to include in the offer. Selected vouchers will be highlighted in green with a tick, so you’ll know they’ve been added successfully.

  • Click on 'Update Offer' at the bottom of the page.
  • The offer will then be ready to go live during the selected dates and times you entered in the Setup tab.

Important note - If a voucher is part of an offer, it will no longer be able to be purchased in any other part of the Gifted site (for example, half-price afternoon tea in January means the included afternoon tea voucher cannot be bought at full price whilst the offer is running. Therefore, you may want to create a new voucher that can then be applied to the offer, so customers don’t miss out on any experiences ,and you don’t miss out on any sales.
