EMS | Medical Types

Description

Medical Type setup creates the question used for any consolation forms and to assign restriction when booking appointments.

Resolution

Creating Medical types

In "Administrator" click onto "Initial Setup Menu"  then click onto "Medical Types" or via "Configuration" click onto “Medical Types”

1. To create new Medical Types click onto the "Green Plus"
   
2. Enter a description 
3. Select the "Green Tick" to confirm
   

Creating Medical Questions

The "Web Description" is used in questionnaires to display a question against the medical type.  The question can differ at site level dependent on the business requirements.

Description - item description

Web Description - use with customer facing devices and communications, typically to display the question associated with the medical type

Ask on the Web - makes the Web description visible to customers

Medical Notes - activates the ability to enter notes against the a question

Medical Note Mandatory - forces completion of a question

Question Type - ability to set the question response

1. None - Ability to add a statement rather than a question
   
2. Radio Button Yes/No - set a Yes or No response
   
3. Checkbox Yes - set a check box to confirm
   

Sort

To set the order the questions are displayed  

1. select the dotted box to the left of the description 
   
2. drag the item up/down to the required position
