The difference between "Booking Limits" and "Web Booking Limits."
How to configure Global Time Band limits within Premier.
How to apply specific overrides for individual Spa Day packages.
Use this guide when setting up new Spa Day packages or managing daily capacity. This configuration is essential for making packages visible and bookable on your storefront. If these limits are not correctly set, your items may appear as "Sold Out" or not appear at all online, even if they are bookable internally.
Key Logic:
The system distinguishes between your total operational capacity and the portion of that capacity you wish to sell online. The Web Booking Limit is a subset of your Booking Limit, not an addition to it. For example, if you have a limit of 10 and a web limit of 5, once 5 are sold online, the remaining 5 can only be booked manually by your team.
Access to Premier Software (Configuration/Administrator) is required.
Ensure your Spa Day packages are already created and marked as "Web Bookable."
Determine your maximum occupancy for each time band of the day.
These are your "default" limits that apply across the board unless an override is in place.
Open Package Time Bands in your Premier Configuration/Administrator module.
Select Band 1 and enter the designated Start and End times.
Booking Limit: Enter the maximum number of bookings allowed for each day of the week for this band.
Web Booking Limit: Enter the maximum number of those bookings that can be made via the storefront.
Note: This must be greater than 0 for the package to appear online.
Repeat this process for all other required time bands (e.g., Band 2, Band 3).
Use this if a specific premium package needs tighter capacity control than your global settings.
Navigate to the specific Spa Day Package settings in Premier.
Locate the Web/Online settings for that individual package.
Booking Limit: Set the maximum total clients for this specific package per day.
Web Booking Limit: Set the specific amount allocated to the website for this package.
Allow Bookings: Tick the checkbox next to the specific time bands where this package is valid.
Number of Bands Booked: Define the duration by selecting how many bands this package occupies from the start time to the finish time.
The "Buffer" Strategy: Many spas set the Web Booking Limit slightly lower than the Booking Limit. This creates a "buffer" that prevents the website from completely filling your diary, leaving space for your reception team to handle phone-in VIPs or complex group bookings.
The Zero Limit Trap: If your storefront shows a package but lists it as "Unavailable" or "Sold Out" for every date, the most common cause is that the Web Booking Limit is set to 0 while the Booking Limit is set to 10. Always ensure the Web Booking Limit is at least 1 to enable online sales.
