Use this process whenever you wish to sell physical inventory—such as spa products, branded merchandise, or local produce—directly through your Ecommerce storefront.
Key Logic:
By creating a dedicated retail product, you provide guests with a professional shopping experience that includes high-quality imagery, clear tax breakdowns, and automated fulfillment routing. Properly configured products can be easily showcased on your homepage or cross-sold alongside room and spa bookings.
Ensure you have high-quality product images (multiple angles recommended).
Confirm the correct Tax Band (VAT) for the specific item.
Define your Fulfilment Company if you use a third party for shipping or in-house dispatch.
All retail inventory is managed within a centralised product library.
Log in to your Ecommerce platform.
Select Products from the menu on the left-hand side.
Click the Create a Product button.
Fill out the following fields to define how your product appears and behaves:
Product Name: The title shown to guests on the storefront.
Price: The retail price of the item.
Category: Assign the product to a relevant group (e.g., Skincare, Gifts).
Summary Description: A short "hook" to catch the guest's eye.
Full Description: Detailed information, including ingredients, dimensions, or usage instructions.
Limit: Set the maximum number of this specific product a guest can add to their basket in a single transaction.
Tax Band: Select the appropriate VAT or tax rate.
Image: Upload one or more high-quality images.
Fulfilment Company: Select the entity responsible for shipping the item.
Your product will not be visible to the public until it is explicitly published.
Review all entered details for accuracy.
Tick the box titled Published on the website.
Click Create a Product at the bottom of the page to save your work.
Note: If you are still waiting for images or final pricing, leave the "Published" box unticked to save the product as a draft.

Specific product example:
Inventory and pricing often need adjustments over time.
Go to the Products list in the sidebar.
Locate the product name you wish to update.
Click Edit on the far right-hand side.
Update the necessary fields and click Save.
Use Multiple Images: Guests are more likely to purchase retail items if they can see different angles or packaging. Use the "Add Multiple" image feature to showcase the product's quality and texture.
Stock Limits: The Limit field refers to the maximum per purchase, not necessarily your total physical warehouse stock. Ensure your marketing team and reception team are aligned on physical stock levels to avoid overselling items that are currently out of stock.
