Images must be uploaded to the 'Distribution' section first before you can then use the image on the rates or the rooms.
To do this:
Login to Guestline.
Go into 'Distribution'.
Under ‘Content & Info’, you’ll see ‘File Upload’.
Here you can search through your files or just drag and drop onto the ‘search file’ button to upload your image.
If there are any problems with uploading your image e.g. too big, it will let you know that it couldn’t upload your image and for what reason.
If you’ve successfully uploaded, you can then go back into managing your rates or rooms, edit any of the rooms/rates and then use the drop-down on the image URL to select the image you’d like to use.
Things to know when uploading images :
The file title should not have any characters in.
You can also only upload an image file which is a JPEG or PNG format and max 200kb so you’ll most likely need to re-size your images before uploading. (Here is a link to a re-sizing website which will allow you to re-size in bulk: https://bulkresizephotos.com/en)
When re-sizing imagery, make sure you’re using a clear high-quality image to start with.
Make sure you save the image name clearly as the rate, room or upsell you’d like to use it for otherwise it’ll be confusing searching through the list of images trying to find the one you need. You will only be able to see the name of the image and not preview it.
You can only upload one image per rate but you can upload multiple images for rooms which we do recommend doing.
