How to enable the specific setting in Premier required for online availability.
Why this setting is critical for the "handshake" between the storefront and your spa diary.
Where to find the Reservation Options menu within Premier Manager.
Use this guide if you are in the initial setup phase of your spa module or if you find that treatments are showing as "Unavailable" on the storefront despite having correct prices and rotas. Without this setting, the platform cannot create a valid placeholder for a booking, which causes the availability check to fail.
Key Logic:
When a guest searches for a treatment, the platform asks Premier: "Can I have a reference number for this slot?" If Premier is not set to generate these numbers automatically, it remains silent, and the platform assumes no slots are available. Enabling this ensures every online booking is assigned a unique tracking ID instantly.
Access to Premier Software (Manager Module) is required.
Ensure you have the necessary administrative permissions to edit Site Settings.
Log into the Manager module of your Premier software.
Select the General menu from the top navigation bar.
Click on Sites to view your property details.
Click on the Site Settings button.
Within the Site Settings window, click on Reservation Options.
Locate the option labeled Auto Generate Reservation References.
Ensure this option is Enabled (ticked).
Save your changes and exit the menu.
After enabling the setting, go back to your ecommerce storefront.
Perform a fresh search for a treatment that was previously showing as unavailable.
The slots should now appear as bookable, provided your [Appointment Activation] and [Time Band Limits] are also correctly configured.
Check All Sites: If your property has multiple spa "sites" configured within one Premier database, you must repeat this process for each individual site to ensure online booking works across the entire estate.
Sync Delay: It may take a few minutes for the change in Premier to be recognized by the platform's availability engine. If the slots do not appear immediately, clear your browser cache or try searching in an Incognito/Private window.
