Ecommerce Platform | Creating availability rules

Availability rules in ecommerce platform allow you to block out a specific day/period for any spa item.

Process:

  • Log in to your ecommerce platform.

  • From the main menu on the left-hand side of the screen, under the 'Products & Service' heading click on 'Spa'.

  • From the sub-menu this opens, scroll down and click on 'Availability Rules'.


  • The availability rules page will appear with two options ‘Create availability rule’ or 'Block a day’.



Creating an Availability Rule

An availability rule will allow you to select certain items such as treatments or spa days you wish to block out availability for.
  • Click 'create availability rule'.

  • Select your target from the drop-down list for the event, or events you wish the rule to apply to.

    • This can be all events, all types (spa days/treatments/classes), by category, or by individual item. This may bring up another drop-down list where you can make your specific selections (as shown below).



  • Set your start and end date and time. The time period that you select here, is the time that the selected spa items will not be bookable for.

  • Click 'Save'.

  • Once the rule has been saved it will automatically appear on the availability page.


  • If necessary you can delete the rule at any time by clicking on the delete button, however, this cannot be undone and if done in error you would need to create a completely new rule.


Blocking out a Day

Blocking out a day blocks out availability across ALL items/events.
  • Go to the 'availability rules' page.
  • Select 'block a day'.
  • Enter the date you want to block out all availability for.
  • Click 'save'.
  • The block will automatically appear on the availability page.
  • Delete if necessary.
