Use this guide when you want to enhance the visual appeal of a specific booking option. While rates are pulled automatically from your property management system, the Key Logic here is that the Ecommerce platform allows you to override default images with high-quality, marketing-specific visuals to improve conversion for that particular rate plan.
Ensure your rates have been successfully synchronised and pulled through to the Ecommerce platform.
Prepare your image file (ensure it meets your brand's recommended dimensions and file size for optimal loading speeds).
From the main dashboard, navigate to the left-hand sidebar. Select the Stay menu to expand the options, and then click on Rates from the secondary sub-menu.
Browse your list of synchronised rates. Once you have identified the specific rate plan you wish to update, click the Edit button located on the right-hand side of the entry.
Scroll down to the Images section of the rate configuration page. Click on the Upload file button. Select your desired image from your local drive and wait for the upload preview to appear.
Important Notice: Once a new file is uploaded and saved, any previous or default image associated with this specific rate plan will be overridden on the guest-facing booking engine.
To finalise the update, click the Save button at the bottom of the page. Your new image is now live and will be displayed to guests viewing that specific rate.
Consistency is Key: Use images that match the "vibe" of the rate (e.g., use a relaxing spa image for a "Pamper Package" rate rather than a generic room shot).
Alt Text: Ensure you fill in any available metadata fields for the image to improve accessibility and SEO.
Verify: Always check the front-end of your booking engine after saving to ensure the image is cropped correctly and looks professional.
