EMS | Appointment Code - Linked Appointments
Description
Using Linked Appointments prompts the user to select a secondary appointment when booking, and will also suggest the best time to book the appointment.
Typically used in the hair service where an initial technical appointment (colour hair) is followed by a finishing service (styling), setting time between the first and second appointment (Wait Time).
Resolution
Creating a Linked Appointment
Linked appointments are only bookable for Staff only appointments.
In "Administrator" or via "Configuration" click onto “Appointment Codes”
- Select the the Appointment form the list
- Set the "Column Requirements" to "No Room or Facility Required"
- Select "Appointment Link Required"
In addition to the length of the appointment you can assign a suggested length of time before the next appointment should start "Wait Time". For example, Set the amount of time required for the colour/perm to develop.
- Set select the duration form the drop down list "Wait Time"
Assigning Appointment Links
In "Administrator" or via "Configuration" click onto “Appointment Codes”, and select the "Site Details" tab
The "Appointment Links" tabs provide the ability to define which appointments should follow the selected linked appointment
- To configure select the "Appointment Links" Tab
- To Allocate - Move the required Appointments from left to right using the arrows to be required when booking
